Eva Matela Kogut Honored in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s 2022 Women in Law List
Kogut & Wilson proudly celebrates Eva Matela Kogut’s inclusion in the 3rd annual Woman in Law honoree list in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
Eva’s dedication to challenging the status quo of women in the legal industry and improving the divorce experience of her clients merited this honor.
Since co-founding Kogut & Wilson, L.L.C. in 2015, she enjoys mentoring an almost exclusively female team of attorneys, law clerks and staff, serving as a role model to the firm and inspiring those around her. Throughout her more than 20-year career, she created a path for women in the legal industry through advocacy, mentorship and coaching and shaped the future of women in law, inspiring many to develop their skillset to become effective advocates.
In the family law industry, Eva is known for her commitment to the collaborative divorce process and other alternative dispute resolutions as substitutes to the traditional divorce process. She strongly advocates for and empowers her clients by providing the resources and education that help to find the method that works for them and allows them to choose the outcome that best suits each family’s unique needs.
